NICKE- WE HAVE JUST SIGNED NEW WORLDWIDE DEALS WITH BMG/RCA AND PLANNING NEXT YEAR. RELEASE SOME WHERE IN MARCH/APRIL...

U- Any plans for a live home video or DVD in the near future?

NICKE- YES, A FILM CALLED "JETLAGGED" IS DUE TO BE RELEASED AFTER THE SUMMER 2001, SPINAL TAP FOR REAL, VERY COOL AND HARDCORE...

U- What other known (and unknown) bands have you played in?

NICKE- NONE.

U- When people ask you what type of music do you play, what do you tell them?

NICKE- I SAY: I PLAY IN A TWO GUITAR/ THREE CHORD ROCK BAND.

U- You recently played a "secret gig" opening for Warrior Soul as "Bad Boys United", how did that go? Did you get along with Kory and the boys?

NICKE- IT WENT AWESOME, WHAT A SUPRISE GIG, AND YES I LOVE KORY, WEīVE KNOWN HIM FOR YEARS...

U- Your first full length release "Diesel And Power", had more of a "Guns n Roses" vibe to it, compared to your newer punkier stuff. Was this a conscious switch, or did it just happen?

NICKE- IT DID JUST HAPPEN BECAUSE OF THE WAY WE GREW.

U- Do you think your style will change much on the next CD? Are you guys going to jump on the "Addidas-Rock" bandwagon, and change the name to "The Backyard Limp Korn"?

U- You recently toured with AC/DC, tell us what ruled about that tour, and what sucked ass?

NICKE- WEMBLEY SUCKED ASS, THE REST WAS AN UNREAL WET ROCK N ROLL DREAM... AC/DC RULES...AND THEY REALLY LIKED US WHICH IS TOO FUCKIN COOL...

U- How many pack of smokes do AC/DC go through in a day? 10? 20?

NICKE- DO THEY SMOKE? (HA HA)

U- What's your opinion of the heavy music scene in North America compared to Europe?

NICKE- AMERICA IS GONNA GET THEIR BOTTOMS KICKED.

U- What's the worst job you ever had to do, to support yourself while being in the band?

NICKE- DOIN LAUNDRY AT AN OLDPEOPLESHOUSE, TOO MUCH SHIT...

U- What do you think of all these MTV "punk" bands? (Offspring, Blink 182, Green Day etc.)

NICKE- I LIKE SOME GREEN DAY BUT DOESNīT REALLY CARE SO MUCH...ITīS TOO MUCH BUSINESS THINKING...NOTHIN REAL.

U- If you were offered the job of playing guitar for the "The Back Street Boys" for one million US $, but you could never play guitar (or anything else) again in any other band, would you take it?

NICKE- CīMON...NEXT QUESTION.

U- If you could make a wish, and have any band on the planet disappear forever, who would it be, and why?

NICKE- "IīM A LOVER NOT A FIGHTER".

U- What songs do you like playing live, which are the hardest?

NICKE- A NEW SONG CALLED "MY DEMONIC SIDE" IS MY FAVORITE LIVE TRACK RIGHT NOW, BUT IF IīM NOT CAREFUL I SING IT LIKE A CUNT...HA HA.

U- You guys all went to the same high school. So tell us an embarrassing high school story about each of your band mates?

NICKE- I DIDNīT GET TO KNOW THEM UNTIL AFTER SCHOOL, BESIDES I DROPPED OUT....

U- Dose everyone get a say in the writing?

NICKE- YES, NOWDAYS.

U- Who gets the most chicks in the band? And who gets the dogs?

NICKE- WE ONLY GET CATS.

U- What's the most "Rock n Roll" thing you (or the band) has ever done? (like trashing hotel rooms, eating sushi off of naked women, that type of thing)

NICKE- I WOULDNīT REMEMBER...I JUST HEAR RUMOURS OF US BEING PRETTY LOUD FROM TIME TO TIME.

U- What are your musical influences? Those from when you started, and those that inspire you today.

NICKE- ROLLING STONES, BEATLES, SEX PISTOLS, CLASH, AC/DC, SOCIAL DISTORTION, WILDHEARTS AND THE HELLACOPTERS.

U- What CDs do you play when you are on your own, and no one is around to hear? Any embarrassing secrets you want to tell?

NICKE- ALL SAINTS.

U- What's the most embarrassing thing to ever happen to you on tour?

NICKE- DONīT KNOW.

U- What's the proudest moment you have had as a member of this band?

NICKE- OPENING FOR AC/DC.

U- Out of all the bands you have played with live, which bands or musicians are cool to work with, and who just pissed you off, and made you want to stomp a mud-hole in their ass?

NICKE- L7 IS THE COOLEST AND ROB ZOMBIE IS A JERK.

U- What's your favourite beer/drink? And give us your best "drunk punk guy" story.

NICKE- IīM A JACK & COKE MAN BUT DRINKS ALOT OF REDWINE THESE DAYS. "GRUNK DUNK BUY -STORY???".

U- In a drinking contest, who in the band would be the first to pass out? Who would be the last man standing?

NICKE- JOHAN WOULD PASS OUT FIRST AND PEDER AND DREGEN WOULD PROBABLY WIN TOGETHER.

U- If a life & death fight broke out between The Backyard Babies, and the Hellacopters, do you think Dregen would fight with you or against you? ;)

U- Would you rather tour with, Punks or Metal heads? Why?

NICKE- NONE.

U- What's your favourite movie, and actor of all time? Why?

NICKE- I DONīT WATCH TO MUCH MOVIES , BUT I ENJOYED MATRIX.

U- As a band or musician, have you ever been pressured by a label to do something you didn’t want to do? (song choices, lyrics etc.) Did you cave in, or tell them to "cram it"?
